A strong program, coupled with the multidisciplinary support of professionals who serve children and families affected by child maltreatment and violence, attributed to the Colloquium’s success, where APSAC also celebrated its 25th Anniversary as an association.

APSAC’s Colloquium offered nearly 100 institutes and workshops which address all aspects of child maltreatment, including prevention, assessment, intervention and treatment with victims, perpetrators and families affected by physical, sexual and psychological abuse and neglect. Several special programs were provided that attracted strong attendance from law enforcement personnel, as well as the United States Air Force. Cultural considerations were also addressed.
